It is a family-friendly place because of its location below Qala on the southern coast of Gozo. However, the closest bus service goes to Hondoq ir-Rummien, so it might be worth considering renting a car.

San Blas Bay is another red sandy beach, located on the north coast of Gozo. It is accessible from the village of in-Nadur, you will need to walk and climb a little in order to reach your destination.
This beach is the combination of a creek and steep-sided natural valley and represents a small yet magical place to visit. It is one of the more remote beaches in Gozo.
Ir-Ramla l-Ħamra is a quiet and sandy beach and is known as the Red Sandy Beach, it is a very family-friendly place and perfect to enjoy the Gozo nature with the Calypso Cave.
